Information for Parents

The Youth Academy Summer Camp 2023 is just a few weeks away. It will be a great camp to welcome old and make new campers. It is going to be a Summer Camp experience of a lifetime. It just does not get better than this.

It is going to be a jammed-packed event with loads of fun activities, and for the second year running there will be trophies to be won, such as:

  • Summer Camp Team of the Year, ages 12-14 & 15 - 17.
  • Summer Camp Debate Team of the Year, ages 12 – 14 & 15 - 17.
  • Summer Camp Debate winners (individual) certificates ages 12-14 & 15 – 17.

All campers ages 12 – 14 at the time of attending camp must attend camp on Monday & Tuesdays (10.30 - 3.30 pm)

All campers ages 15 – 17 at the time of attending camp must attend camp on Wednesday only (10.30 - 3.30 pm)

And return to play on Thursdays (12noon - 3.30 pm)

Most importantly, you will be spending time together exploring what it means to be a Youth in the 21st century! You're not going to want to miss it. REGISTER TODAY!

*The summer camp is free for all children to register and attend. However, we require a registration fee deposit. The deposit will be refunded following a 90% attendance rate, otherwise, it will be forfeited.

For Parents/Guardians

We implore all parents/guardians to instruct their children attending summer camp to comply with the camp's Code of Conduct . Failure to comply with the camp's code of conduct may result in parent/guardian forfeiting their deposit.

Parents/guardians must contact the summer camp administrator on 0208 8517 5827 during the summer camp sessions. All attendees will have their phones stored in our summer camp phone bank.

All attendees will have access to their phones during lunch break (1pm – 2 pm) and after all sessions are over (3:30 pm).

All attendees are to provide their lunch. We will provide snacks, hot beverages, and juices as a complimentary service for your child.

*Upon full certificate of participation and completion of the summer camp program, your camper's registration deposit of whatever household category will be, refunded in full.

Who is looking After me? 

The Youth Camp Manager, Youth Camp Supervisor and Camp Volunteers will be responsible for all youth during the camp. There will be supervision to keep all campers to make sure everyone is safe and sound whilst on the premises.

Each camper's parents and guardian must read the Code of Conduct prior to attending camp.

The Summer Camp is open to all within the specified age groups and priority will be given to residents of Barking and Dagenham.

The summer camp is free, however a refundable deposit is required.

FAMILY WITH TWO OR MORE

in attendance a deposit of £60

Upon full completion, a certificate of completion will be issued with the return of the deposit
