We know that you are probably really concerned about coronavirus. Itโs one of the biggest challenges we have all faced together since the War.
We are a community group, supported by Power House International Ministries, Barking & Dagenham Council and others looking out for each other. If people are self-isolating and alone, or struggling to get to the shops for the essentials that they need, then they need to know there are people around them who can help.
If you, or someone you know, needs some additional help with practical tasks or a bit of social contact, then there is help for you. Power House Community Network can assist you in the following practical ways:
Foodbank
There is limited stock available at this time. However, we can ensure you get what is essential.
Shopping
If you are self-insolating, we have volunteers and staff available to shop for you. Give us a call with your list and method of payment. Payment is only collected once shopping had be delivered. Payment can be in cash or by a card machine.
Vulnerable
If you are vulnerable and without family support, we can assist you with your weekly shopping and medication collections to ensure you remain safe at all times. Give us a call on the listed number below)
Alone
We have staff/volunteers available to speak with you constantly to ensure you are safe and to answer any question you may have
Finance
We can sign post you to the Local Authority who can assist those financial affected by the lockdown
